Signode SPC-114 High Strength Sealless Strapping Tool DISCONTINUED
The SPC-114 is used with 1 1/4" up to .031" high tensile steel strapping. It is 37 pounds, and generally counter balanced. The SPC-114 uses a feedwheel to pull the banding tight, then dies and a blade to make its own seal and cut the strapping.
Strapping: For use on 1 ΒΌ" (32 mm) Magnus steel strapping in gauges from .025" -.031" (0.64-0.79 mm).
Tension: Up to 3,200 lbs. (14235 N)

Allstrap Opinion: Before buying Signode's steel strapping tool, you should consider the new and very strong, HT Poly strapping used with tools like Signode's BXT3-32. 1 1/4" PET strap is quickly replacing strong 1 1/4" steel strapping because it is faster, safer, and costs less.
