The MIP-4800 has been replaced by the MIP-4900
The MIP-4800 is for regular duty steel strapping sizes 1/2"-3/4" x .015"-.023". The MIP-4800 is made in USA. This tool is a money saver because the sealless combination component crimps together the two ends of the metal strapping to create a perfect seal.
Allstrap Opinion: This tool is average, but it’s made in the US, and has a decent price. However, we prefer the ASC over the MIP-4800.
