5/8" HD Serrated Seal
5/8" heavy duty serrated seal for polyester (PET) and polypro (PP) strapping. The serrations grip the poly strapping and give a much better joint efficiency then the standard poly seal.
This seal is used with an offset sealer or the ASC330. This seal does not work with Signode sealers. Generally used with strapping having a 500 lb. or stronger break strength including the most commonly use PET strap in the US, 5/8" x .035".

Allstrap Opinion: There are only three seals that we have tested that meet the ASTM D3953 minimum joint efficiency (45%). One is the crazy expensive Signode sand paper seal DY58, the Swiss made Orgapack seal, and this Canadian seal. There are many generics of this serrated 2300.16 seal that are getting a horrible 20% efficiency (80% of strength lost). The weakest link is at the seal, you can't afford not to use a good quality seal. You can find cheaper 5/8" serrated seals, but ask for the testing certificate and we bet you will hear crickets... We recommend the 2300.16 poly seal.
