Siat GT Viper battery powered strapping tool.
The Viper is an impressive new offering from the Italian company Siat. It runs on 18 volt Lithium batteries. It can run 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" PET strap. It comes with the guides/shims to adjust to any width and thickness in the range, but will come set for just one range (ie. 5/8" x .035" PET).

Allstrap Opinion:
We really like Siat's previous generation of tools including the GT-One and GT-Extreme, and this tool follow suit and we expect a very easy to use bander. The GT Viper has a solid base, which make it easy to remove after banding. It Can be set in Manual or Auto (like the BXT3/ORT260 and BXT3-19/ORT450), which makes it easy on the operator. Unlike the other Siat tools, the Viper uses a standard battery! So the days of paying a crazy price for power is over! The GT Viper uses a Makita 18 volt, which will make this our new favorite strapping tool. We recommend the GT-VIper by Siat!
