Signode AHP2-114 Magazine Combination Tool

The Signode AHP2-114 is used with 1 1/4" steel strapping. This tool uses 114A magazine seals so the operator can quickly band, and not have to thread a seal on every time. The AHP2 will tension, apply and notch the seal, and then cut the strapping.

Allstrap Opinion: We strongly prefer a sealless tool (such as the pneumatic Fromm A383 or manual ZL90-1), but many feel reassured seeing a seal. This tool was a staple in the steel service industry in the 1990s, but today is almost gone.  Maybe it is time to consider HD poly strapping!  There are new battery tools, but none that take a magazine stack like the AHP.  The base on the AHP2 is the smaller than any sealless tool.  In tight applications, we recommend the AHP2-114.
