The Signode SCL-48 is the heavy-duty counterpart in the SCL series, specifically engineered for 1/2" steel strapping applications. This manual sealless tool provides a high-strength interlocking joint without the need for traditional metal seals, making it an efficient and cost-effective solution for mid-width steel bundling.

Operating the SCL48

To operate the tool, squeeze the SCL48 handle. This lifts the wheel so you can insert both straps. Crank the right handle to pull tension, and throw the left SCL48 handle to seal and cut. The SCL-48 is fast, and the joint efficiency is better than you can get with a steel seal.
